Sistema Scotland’s principle aim is to transform children’s lives with music. The welfare of the children we work with is our priority at all times.

Our work is targeted and delivered specifically in areas of deprivation, and it is our ambition to support and enable young people from these areas, particularly those identified as vulnerable or at risk, to participate within the orchestra.

Sistema Scotland recognises the specific responsibilities of all our staff to ensure that children who our work brings us in to contact with are protected from harm. All of the musicians we work with must complete an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Check.
